Nanotechnology in the agri-food chain

How are technological innovations, particularly nanotechnology, changing the agrifood system? What is the role of science in the regulation of scientific risk? Is there a level of uncertainty that the law could tolerate? This meeting, which concerns on of the scientific sub-themes of Expo 2015, aims to be an opportunity to guide those present in a debate defining the borders between science, technology and law. The purpose of this event is to understand the reasons that have led to a new frontier – nanofood – by considering ethical, health and environmental aspects.
